http://www.monstersandcritics.com/news/business/news/article_1637974.php/Ryanair-threatens-Spain-with-job-cuts-unless-fines-are-lifted
Ryanair has threatened to reduce operations and cut jobs in Spain unless the authorities lift fines worth 1.23 million euros, the Spanish dailies Expansion and El Mundo reported Monday.
Ryanair had been hit with 65 fines in 2009 and 2010, the reports said.
O'Leary described the fines as 'unfair and unjust' in a letter addressed to Spanish Industry Minister Miguel Sebastian.
He described the fines as 'disproportionate' and 'discriminatory,' saying other airlines in Spain were not subject to such high fines.
If the fines were not lifted, Ryanair would 'begin the process of cutting flights, routes, traffic and jobs at Spanish airports,' the letter read.

Re: Unconfirmed New Bases, Routes, etc. (Rumours only)
According to a French website, Ryanair plan to temporarily ground up to 80 planes this winter :
http://www.air-journal.fr/2011-05-23-ryanair-80-avions-au-garage-cet-hiver-530234.html
The low-cost airline Ryanair is expected to put at least 80 planes in the garage next winter, twice more than last year, to focus on reducing its costs to an uncertain future.
The number of planes that will be parked between November 2011 and April 2012 was a surprise, leaving Ryanair a modest increase of 4% of its capacity. CEO Michael O'Leary said he remained "concerned by the possible impact of the recession, austerity measures and the confidence of passengers in keeping prices down. " While suggesting that the high oil prices and higher airport taxes would drive many competitors out of business, while making its offer more attractive ...

Seen on anna.aero ( http://www.anna.aero/2011/05/25/does-ryanair-euro-annie-mark-the-day-that-the-low-cost-model-changed-forever/ ):
MOL said he’d be “disappointed if the airline will not launch 6-10 more bases in a year’s time”, leaving it with 50+ bases.
Hinting at where these bases would be, MOL suggested one each in Spain and Italy, a second base in Central/Eastern Europe (other than Kaunas), “somewhere” in North Africa, “somewhere” in Scandinavia and also “somewhere” in the UK (in spite of capacity cuts also taking place in the country). There will not be new bases launched in Germany or France.

Kastrups's low cost terminal is already finished and is called CPH Go. Ryanair has allready confirmed they will not be opening routes to Copenhagen, due to disagreements on the fees.
World’s biggest budget airline says new low-cost terminal is too expensive
The world’s biggest budget airline, the Irish-based Ryanair, has confirmed it will definitely not be flying from Copenhagen’s new lost cost terminal CPH Go, according to a report in Check-in Magazine.
The terminal opens in just over a month and the news will come as a blow to both the airport and passengers who had hoped Ryanair could finally be lured to Copenhagen.
So far only one airline, Easyjet, has signed up as a client.
Ryanair has according to the magazine given back its allocated arrival and departure times, saying that the new terminal is too expensive.

Re: Unconfirmed New Bases, Routes, etc. (Rumours only)
According to this information (in French, reference found on www.luchtzak.be) :
http://www.deplacementspros.com/Avant-premiere-Ryanair-offrira-des-services-supplementaires-aux-voyageurs-d-affaires-en-2012_a10424.html
Ryanair is examining the possibility of offering services and facilities specifically for business (who are prepared to pay more ) such as flexible tickets and better service on the ground - perhaps as early as end september 2011.
Ryanair could also operate from "main" airports as much as 30% of its flights.
(Which would be more like easyJet).
We'll soon see if this is more than a rumour !
