Michael said that Ryanair can only start a base at Lisbon, when TAP is taken over by BA/Iberia. He thinks that Lisbon Airport will lower the fares, when Ryanair can guarantee them millions of passengers.

He also tells that operating routes from current bases to Lisbon doen't make sense.

Ryanair has opened negotiations with the Glasgow International Airport, located 13 km from downtown for 52 against that of Prestwick. However, there is little chance that new routes will be announced before next spring.

there are also some rumours that Ryanair will open a Base in FKB (Baden-Baden) in Jun12. Probably they will operate with two B738 serious aircraft and open some new routs to Greece and Spain

nooo it is only a rumour that I noticed on a meeting but let's see what future will bring......

Not exactly rumours (it's MOL's announcements), but rather vague projects in Scandinavia - brought by a correspondent on PPRuNe :

Main points of MOL's interview for Swedish Nyhetsbyrån Direkt, published today:
Ryanair hopes to open more bases in Scandinavia (nothing concrete though)
"We want to start flying domestic services in Scandinavia. The problem is that many airports are owned by the state who want to protect the SAS and therefore charge high fees. However, I think it will change"
This year, Ryanair will not start flying to new airports in Scandinavia, but hopes to begin flights to 3 - 4 new airports in summer 2012. Of these one or two are expected to be in Sweden, in northern and/or central parts of the country. However, one should not expect Ryanair to fly to any new airport in Denmark.
During the next two years, Scandinavia and Central Europe will be the regions where Ryanair will put most emphasis on growth. No details revealed due to "competitive reasons".
Ryanair has still plans to start flying to the U.S., but it will not happen within 2 - 3 years. In contrast, there are no plans to begin any Asian routes, too tough regulations there.
Ryanair do not see Norwegian as a major competitor, as their ticket prices are too high.
Recession is good for Ryanair.

Great news for Scandinavia ! I don't know why but since 2 or 3 years , in my mind , TAMPERE could be the next base for the Scandinavia ! Before giving Oslo Rygge as new base , i was sure that TAMPERE was the new one !

Michael O'Leary announced for 2012 additional aircraft to its German base Hahn to increase the number of flights, details of which should be known late December. The Ryanair CEO was quoted as saying that the decision was taken following the rise in prices of Air Berlin and the announcement by the government to lower the tax on tourists. Negotiations are still ongoing, however, with airport officials.

The German tax on tourists, imposed since 1 January 2011 at an amount of 8-45 euros, led Ryanair to cancel nine routes to and from Frankfurt - Hahn this summer (34 in total in Germany) and remove three of the eleven aircraft that were based there. The 150 weekly flights concerned Agadir, Berlin, Gdansk, Gothenburg, Klagenfurt, Prague, Santiago, Seville and Wroclaw. The proposed cuts in the tax on tourists would be 5%, inadequate in the opinion of O'Leary who said "50% would be a good start."

62 new routes for Italy in 2012, 8 of them domestic routes.
Amongst these 62 new routes : 14 new routes each for Milano Bergamo and Roma Ciampino.
RYR target in 2011 : 75 million pax; in 2012 : 80 million pax.

Ryanair's Michael Cowley has held a press conference in Warsaw today announcing airlines' interest in opening a base at Warsaw Modlin airport which is due to start operations in 2012. According to Cowley, Ryanair plan over the next 5 years is to have up to 10 aircraft based in Modlin operating to 40 destinations in Europe. Now, because the airline has not signed the contract with the airport yet (it was mentioned that the negotiations are ongoing and in it's final stages), and no airport representative was present at the press conference, how much can we read into it? Is it just a PR stunt to put pressure on the airport authorities? Anyone has more?

And indeed, Cawley is cited saying: "Everything indicates that the deal could be signed soon". Looks more like a kind of blackmail; FR aims at getting the agreement on conditions imposed by themselves.

I'd say, better curb any enthusiasm here. As a consolation, Wroclaw base seems rather certain and that one will be the first Ryanair base in Poland. [Good news for you FR-WRO ]
