Any rumours to Venice - Tenerife sur ?

Neither Venice Treviso nor Tenerifs have a base, and such a long flight is impossible to operate with a W rotation

I know that ryanair has opened a route from Béziers to Rygge but there is a new rumour

Montpellier, Mediterranee (MPL) to Rygge, Moss (RYG)

Rumour on PPRuNe : FR summer 2011 flights to be on sale over the next week or two.
Half of Dublin summer 2011 flights went on sale on friday 29th (eg : to CRL).

Rumour for the next base: Gothenburg City from Summer 2010

Sure. A W-rotatation is when an aircraft departs at a base (let's say Stansted). The plane then flies to for example Beauvais. But instead of returning to Stansted, it makes a return flight to another destination before returning to Stansted. So you get a pattern like Stansted-Beauvais-Treviso-Beauvais-Stansted.

Interesting article in Travel Weekly, where Ryanair's Ken O'Toole says that the airline might open up new routes to and from Turkey and Tunisa.

(I wonder how Ryanair will manage to get landing rights there. As far as I know, Turkey and Tunisa don't have an open skies agreement with the EU like Morocco does. Anyone more information on this?)

Tunisia will have an open skies arrangement (like Marocco) coming in effect in november 2011.

The new Alanya Gazipasa Airport in Turkey is in talks with several airlines, including Ryanair. Airport started operating from September 2009 (at least that's what I found) but more information I can't find.

Turkey could be a goldmine for Ryanair. They can definitely fill dozens of aircraft per week, from airports all over Europe. Lot's of people are buying holiday homes there.

Moreover, there are a lot of Turkish expats in Western Europe, especially in Germany.

This may be true as :
1) Gdansk is planning to announce "wide route extention" within next few weeks (source from polish newspapers)
2) Wroclaw will have new terminal mid 2011 and on their facebook webpage their PR Dept pre-advised possible flights to many new destinations and confirmed advanced talks with FR on opening a base

However I somehow don't believe in 2 bases being KRK & KTW - those airports are too close to each other. If it would be 4 airports in PL I would expect i.e. GDN (definite) WRO (definite) one of KRK/KAT (not both!) and either LCJ or BGZ as fourth one

Does anybody know what about Ryanair's german bases in Weeze and Bremen? What they are going to do? There isn't any available route...

The negotiations between the airports and Ryanair are still going, but soon a decision will be taken. Until then, no routes for the summer season is bookable.

I saw today a new base rumour: Comiso Airport, Sicily.

Comiso (CIY) : Near Ragusa, in the south-east corner of Sicily.
Ex-NATO base, with a runway 2460 m long.

According to this newspaper article Ryanair is considering flights tot Trondheim. If that should be the case I guess first a domestic flight from Rygge?
