Hello everybody! I heard a lot about skg airport! Do you know anything about the "new" base that they want to open?

Tomorrow press conference in Knock West-Ireland.

Probably 3 new routes: Eindhoven, Kaunas and Glasgow-International. These are already in the system, but not bookable yet!

Ryanair requested slot for the following destinations from AMS:
BGY, BHX, BLQ, BVA, CIA, DUB, EDI, EMA, FEZ, KRK, LIS, LPL, MAD, OPO, STN, TSF and WMI

With all due respect for these nice airports, Amsterdam is a destination much more interesting than Eindhoven or Maastricht ...

Ryanair has been granted permission to fly to destinations in Russia from March next year by the country’s aviation authority.

The Federal Air Transport Agency, known as Rosaviatsia, will allow the airline to start regular flights on routes from Dublin to Moscow and St Petersburg, spokesman Sergei Isvolsky said today.

Ryanair is in “exploratory” talks with a number of airports as potential destinations, according to the Dublin-based carrier’s spokesman Robin Kiely.

Russian President Vladimir Putin last year backed plans for low-cost flights, which will require legal changes to permit non-refundable tickets, charging for meals and the hiring of foreign pilots.

Wallon Minister Antoine was worried about the future of Charleroi airport, now that Ryanair is about to go to Brussels.
Michael O'Leary has told him that Charleroi will remain the Ryanair main base in Belgium.
Some of the 175 aircraft on order will be based at Charleroi, and fly to some ten new destinations from September 2014.

As an answer to the new Maroccan tax on airline tickets, Ryanair is said to suppress 30 routes to Marocco, from 1st April 2014.
Amongst them Bergerac-Marrakech and Marrakech-Cuneo.

It seems that Chania base will have two a/c instead of 1 like last summer. The problem is that the second a/c has only one daily morning flight to ATH and from 09.25 it seems grounded at CHQ. Is this maybe a sign that more new routes will be announced from Chania soon?

Ryanair is cancelling service between Milan and Rome due to increasing competition from high-speed rail, sources close to the matter told ANSA on Friday.
The last day in which service between the two airports will be guaranteed is March 29.

Neither Ryanair nor Sacbo, the company that manages the airline's Orio al Serio hub, would comment.

Hi! Does anyone know if new summer routes from BE, NL, DE are still coming for summer 14? Cause it seems so quiet... How for instance also about the new routes to Tivat Airport in Montenegro? Last year it seemed to be finalized for this summer, but nothing so far yet...

Today press conference in Lisbon and tomorrow in Düsseldorf Weeze. Probably both about growth in Winter 2014/2015!
