FRL: Forli "Luigi Ridolfi" (Italy)
For it's "Bologna Forli", although Bologna has its own airport.
We speak here of Forli' airport, "Luigi Ridolfi" - FRL, half way between Bologna and Rimini, in the Emila Romagna, northern Italy.
Website :
http://www.forliairport.com/main/index.php?id_pag=3&page=home&ban=y
Runway :
- 2410 m
- 12/30
At the moment (4/08), Forli is connected by to Dublin, Stansted, Charleroi, Frankfurt-Hahn, Girona, Valencia and soon to Birmingham (from 20 june 2008).
The terminal is rather small, with one level only.
Land side, the check-in desks, a bar, a small shop, an information desk and the security check.
Airside : another bar and a small shop (perfumes, alcohols, etc)
There is not much space, and two loads of passengers at the same time would be a bit too much - there are not seats enough even for one !
From the gates, one has a good view of the whole apron.
There is a shuttle bus to and from the Forli railway station, some 5 km away - at the moment, it costs 3,50 euros, tickets sold on board.
