Ryanair is back to St Etienne & Paris Vatry
The return is imminent for Ryanair at the airport in St Etienne, in October 2009.
Similarly, Ryanair (and other low cost airlines including Air Berlin and Wizzair) should come to the airport in Paris Vatry, also in October 2009.

Paris-Vatry : XCR / LFOK
150 km east of Paris, 70 km south of Reims, between Châlons-en-Champagne and Troyes.

The runway (10/28) is 3860m long (fit for 747 and even A380 !), airport is open 24/24, 365/365. ILS cat III.

If the freight traffic is growing, the passengers traffic is still nil.
The management has met the five main LCC with a view to bring them to Vatry (no doubt with very attractive conditions !). Vatry is not far from the main cities of Champagne, and also not that far from Disneyland Paris ...

Isn't 150kms just a bit too far to market it as Paris Vatry?

Re: Ryanair is back to St Etienne & Paris Vatry
So Paris will have 2 major Ryanair Airports ? Paris Beauvais and Paris Vatry?
Just because the Airport is not too far from Disneyland Paris . This destination can be a very high potential and 24h operations Ryanair seems to like it .
This can be a great oportunity to open a new Base ?
