Flights to Macedonia? That's not what the article says. The article talks about the increase of passengers to Thessaloniki "Macedonia" airport (SKG) - it's the name of the airport, not the country that is being referred to here. The article mentions the very high loads on the new Ryanair routes from SKG to Oslo RYG and Stockholm NYO (96% and 100% respectively, so they claim).

On a different subject, do you have any news or rumours from Carcassonne? How are the new owners getting on with Ryanair? Have you heard any rumours about new routes? Will CCF continue to be dominated by routes to the UK and Ireland, or can new markets be developed? (Of course CCF-CRL is a great success too, and you have the OPO route in Summer). I'd be interested to hear your news and views :-)

OOOPS it's a mistake so ! I am afraid ! About CCF airport , no rumours ! Just a new airline from 2012 or 2013 ! Possible new routes to Hungary with Wizzair ! On a french newspaper , the journalist talked about new routes to Ireland and Germany with . A route to Beauvais and 2 spanishes routes to Malaga and Tenerife South with Spanair ! But not for the moment !

And you're right the CCF-CRL route is the biggest success at the airport ! All summer's routes are a big success as well : PIK / OPO / ORK / EMA ! But I think that CCF remains an airport for Northern's destinations

According to this French website, Ryanair has annouced the suppression of 80% its traffic at Alicante.
The trials with passengers not using the airbridges have not been satisfactory for the airports authority, who want to sell the use of their new airbridges at a cost of 2 million euros per year. Ryanair does not agree ....

Well they have been flying to Basel-Mulhouse in the past, but that airport is located in France. So, it's the first destination in Switzerland itself. I found the info on the wikipedia page of the airport. Probably the worst source ever.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Gallen-Altenrhein_Airport

Someone any additional news about Ryanair-flight to Tivat/Podgorica? I know a Montenegrin minister confirmed negotiations are ongoing and that flights may start from september this year to Stansted and Prestwick. At this time, no confirmation by Ryanair yet. Any news?

Any news and i think that if flights to Montenegro should starts on september 2011 , it's too late ! maybe on Macrh 2012.

Rumour on PPRuNe that the next RYR base could be Larnaca (LCA - Cyprus).
Larnaca currently has flights to Girona, Bologna, Brussels South Charleroi and Dusseldorf Weeze.

From November ???? that's strange ! we are on spetember and anything has been announced !!!!!! It Turin is a base from November 2011 ryanair will make the announcement very soon

If Turin is opening, it definitely won't be November as it hasn't already been announced - considering that MAN is opening in November & it was announced months ago. It would probably be 2012 before it opened..
