Re: Unconfirmed New Bases, Routes, etc. (Rumours only)
Knock West Ireland and Kerry (former base) are the 2 possibilities! Or ryanair is going to fly to a new irish destination ...
I checked on a lot of website, Galway, Waterford and Sligo the others Irish airports have a short runway. So one re-opening = Kerry or new base = knock

I don't know. On the ryanair website, the Granada-+Bologna route is definitely cancelled. But for the Bergamo-Granada route isn't totally cancelled so

Knock? - too windy there for a base - lot of cancellations due to weather
Kerry? - without PSO Routes? doubt....
IF.... IF.... there would be next "irish" base I would bet on Belfast re-activation

Re: Unconfirmed New Bases, Routes, etc. (Rumours only)
It cannot be BHD
On 31 August 2010, Ryanair announced it would close its Belfast City base, meaning all Ryanair services were lost from 31 October 2010. Five routes and 800,000 passengers per annum will be lost at the airport as a result. The closure of the base was due to the planned runway extension being delayed for a further two years. The airline had stated it would fly to European destinations from the airport if the runway was extended.[5]

About Wroclaw.
Unfortunately, I'm not confident in a WRO-OPO route, unless WRO becomes a base.
There's no room for more routes in OPO, because the planes' schedule is full.
Anda a W route is very, very unlikely.

I would preffer a base not OPO plane visiting WRO but WRO plane visiting OPO
however W rotation wouldn't be bad as well - like EIN got i.e. DUB planes doing DUB-EIN-PMI-EIN-DUB or DUB-EIN-IBZ-EIN-DUB
long days for crew anyway as they start 6:30 (reporting 5:45) and finish 16:00/16:10. Similar W rotation with WRO-OPO-WRO would be possible from several bases

I think that 2 bases in Poland it's possible. WRO and KRK are both big cities.

Malta - caution
ALEXANDRECCFAIRPORT wrote:New aircraft at Malta airport with 17 new routes over the next 2 years
Hello everybody,
For news and rumours, it's probably a good idea to provide a source, if you can. Here is a source for the Malta story:
http://www.timesofmalta.com/articles/view/20110324/local/government-to-consider-ryan-air-proposal
The article says that Ryanair "hopes" to open 17 new routes starting next year and "hopes" to base a second aircraft. The use of the word "hopes" implies uncertainty. Although Ryanair could open any route between Malta and other EU countries if they wanted to, they seem to be looking for discounts and incentives from the Maltese government and other agencies. The Maltese government is understandably keen not to damage Air Malta, so I suspect there will need to be many negotiations before an agreement is reached. Routes that compete directly or indirectly with Air Malta (e.g. MLA-CRL) would be less likely to receive the financial support that Ryanair appears to be looking for.

Thank you for the link ...for the Malta-Charleroi route there was a rumour few weeks ago and it was not the first time so i think that this route is going to be real the next few weeks or months
