Mastercard Prepaid and Admin Fee

Hello, I'm an owner of a "Mastercard Prepaid card" which I've used in the past to book RyanAir flights with. There was not a single occasion that an extra admin fee was needed of me (given that the owners of such a prepaid card are being excepted from the fee). However -lately- I'm trying to book a flight (with the above card) and it continuously asks for admin fee in addition to the flight's cost. At first I though it was my web session's fault so I reloaded the page but -no- the situation remained the same. Do you know why that may be? Was there a change in the company's policy and now the administration fee is being charged to all?

Please do enlighten me in this very important subject for me.

It depends on the departure country. Where are you flying from?

Germany. I thought it had more to do with the card's origin than the country of departure...

Yeah but my MasterCard is Greek, why should it matter that I happen to fly from Germany?

For example when I flew from Spain I had no such problem (I paid with Mastercard prepaid and no admin fee was charged)...

I don't know why, but it does. There were also other people with the same problem as yours. You can't do anything it's just as it is So sorry to tell you that, but either buy a ryanair cash passport or pay the admin fee, no way around it
